Game Over!!!

It has been a very long road in my Lineage "career", I have fought and hunted leveled and deleveled. A thing that not everyone can say they have done. I have decided that it is time for a new chapter in my book of life and Lineage is nowhere in it. I have been training and studying to become a police officer and am doing quite well. I would not be able to fulfill what I want to accomplish in life with Lineage still a part of it. I have thought I may need to come back, OMG Lineage is so much fun!!! In reality It is not very fun at all, it is just addicting. Most of us know that there is alot of hunting or shall I say hitting the same kind of monsters for 10 hours a day for weeks or even months. Lineage pays a toll on you and no matter what, after all that time and effort you put forth all you have to show for it is a crappy looking cartoon character 2D animated game. I mean yes it was a very popular and in the past fun, but Lineage is slowly sinking. We all know that it will come to an end, NC was too late in trying to ban all of the bots and have missed a few bots. It is okay I guess I had a blast hanging out,playing, and chatting with tons of new faces from different areas of the globe. I have made friendships from a game that I will treasure forever. I enjoyed the long nights leveling with friends, but it is time for me to move on and seek something that is new and not a computer game. BombSquad was my main character and I thought I would not give it up for the world, but things change and a game that I once loved has diminished. I do own BombSquad for whoever attempts to prove me wrong, I leveled it to 52 adding con (http://www.lineageone.com/node/967) and then I started adding dex until 55, I then realized that I had time to delevel still so I decided that was what I wanted to do. I leveled to 59 and added til I was 24 con and then deleveled (http://lineageone.com/en/node/3314), I releveled to 50 and then had my friend John's friend level it to 51 due to my time restraints. I am now 51 and 40% with 717hp, if I showed you a rediculous screen shot with silver ant wings, belt, ammy, gloves, boots, and all of those hp items with AS I would. No one cares about what your hp is with items. It is 717 base and maybe it will become higher, but I will never see Bomb with more hp. I have sold my account on revamped.org for a decent amount of money and have successfully quit the game. I am sorry for all those people who wanted to see a level 65 deleveled and releveled sword elf. I am happy for all of the friends I have made and I still dislike the people I did not like before. I am not here to ask you to be sorry or happy for me, because I really do no give a damn. I have quit, sold my account and adena, and have moved on with my life. I do wish you guys give the new user a chance before you start hitting him or being mean to him, he seemed like a nice guy. well if you guys ever want to talk or say hi my msn is chestnutbatleg@hotmail.com and my AIM is chestnutbatleg...

About a month or so ago I was cruising through the remaining Lineage blogs looking for something to read and no matter where I turned all I could find were pictures of dead people and exclamations about why the dead people sucked. Gone were the posts about grand adventures into TOI and cool boss screenshots.

What happened, did all of the TOI bosses pack up their bags and move to Istanbul? Where were all the screenshots of cool drops or I don’t know… the demon temple? Did anyone ever go there?

Now though… now it’s death screenshots, be it montage or single picture with no witty throw back. It’s just “ha lvl 70 newb died!!!1 LOLROTFL”

I dunno what happened exactly but back when I played it wasn’t just about hate for the sake of hate. When one pledge lined up together it was because you, as a pledge, stood for something, be it honor or self respect. It was a blood pledge, a bond that could not be broken until the last bit of blood was spilled from its veins. Unfortunately, I don’t think one pledge is like that now. I’m pretty sure that any pledge you find on Depardieu is held together by a supercilious glue of hatred and previous betrayal. The only notable exception to this rule I can even think of might be Elane’s pledge which doesn’t even really count because she’s been abused so much by everyone that she is like a battered prostitute huddling in the corner afraid that the next person who walks by is going to unleash a drunken flurry upon her.

Here’s the news flash for all you guys out there fighting and posting and doing whatever it is you do. You have to hold yourselves to a higher standard than those you want to exterminate because being a winner isn’t about just killing your opponent, it is about the perception of reality. Do you know why people can see a zillion screenshots of Firstlove or SoL or PoD or whatever it is now called dead and still think they are winning? Perception… and I’ll spell it out for you right here.

The perception is that SoL is invincible, not that they don’t die, but that they are never ending. They have earned that by sheer existence for years. Paldo on the other hand still has the perception of the underdog and that will not change until people are scared to join SoL. If you don’t think that’s true, ask yourselves one question, how many times has someone said, “if all the people who hated sol just fought them they’d lose.” I rest my case.

Now I’m not taking sides because, honestly, I don’t care much, and in reality I really just want people to post interesting things, by which I mean interesting to me. And on that note let’s be real here, no one cares if you died if you aren’t 70+. This is because if you are fighting, you already know who died and why and when and where and how. If you are not fighting… well you don’t care at all because all you’re interested in is if any of those legendary guys died, and only because you know who they are by reputation for not dying.

But, your blog, by definition is not my blog so I can’t control what gets posted. I’ll probably read what's there anyway, but if its unfunny montages of death, I’ll scroll straight to your comments so at least be really witty.

As you can see I hit level 55...right after the awesome ac items and the titan belt...yes we are all going through a titan belt withdraw. It's like oh man...back to carrying only a couple items >.<;;...

Lv54 and Still Going!

So yes my dark elf is 54 maybe some of you guys are suprised and some are not...but I'm not stopping there and you guys have to guess whatstats I'm adding to!

Yes I did join into PoD because I was being hit by Paldo because they didnt like my heal mage but now i am in my own pledge and just lvling up!

Violent Pacification

The Event happened on Wednesday... but it was sort of an interesting day.

I was racing Emphasis to level up >.> I don't know how that happened. I did beat him by like 5+ hours but that's still impressive.

After I leveled to 10% and dc died I decided to take a break and level a new knight to 30 so I could get an rkshield. The level 15 quest took me forever cause I had to kill like a zillion bks to get the stupid old trading document. During that time I managed to get this.

Then this happened almost moments later.

But, after all was said and done I managed to get to level 30 despite severe lag.

And that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

So I woke up feeling really sick yesterday, but I still managed to play a little. Got to counting this morning before reset and yesterday.

Also did this like a bazillion times or so .

On one final note, Emphasis hit level 52 yesterday. I think he's like 7% already... so crazy

Yesterday...

So I started yesterday at I think 57% though it might have been 58% I can't remember. Here is where I am now, .

I've blown another 4 bcomrs but I did make a +5Homr from a homr I got in TOI, so that will go into the pile. The funny thing about that is I'd already written in my bar that the homr had blown before I blew it and then it went. Heh.

Not much else to report.
